She enjoys making connections with the students and admires the drive and persistence of Â鶹ŮÀÉ's adult learners.
In 2017, Michele began working as a subject matter expert to develop course content for the new community health program as part of a team at Â鶹ŮÀÉ University. Michele believes in lifelong learning and has a goal to learn a new skill each year. This year, she is enrolled in Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching Program and will complete the certificate in August 2019.
In her spare time, Michele enjoys being a soccer mom, hiking, knitting, gardening and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Joe, also an adjunct professor at Â鶹ŮÀÉ, and her three children.
